Delete your Remember account

You can delete your account and all your cloud data yourself, from inside the app.

To delete your Remember account, open the app, go to Me, then Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. Your account and cloud data are deleted. Capsules you sent to other people stay sealed for them.

In the app

  1. Open Remember and tap Me.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under Your data, tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. This cannot be undone.

What is deleted

  • Your account, profile and sign-in details.
  • Your friends and family list and any invite links.
  • Capsules only you could open, and their photos.
  • Your notification settings and push tokens.

What is kept

  • Capsules you sent to other people stay sealed for them and open on their date. They no longer show your name.
  • Records we must keep for legal and fraud-prevention reasons, with no link to your photos.
  • Backups are overwritten within 30 days.

In the app, Settings, Your data, Export my data.

Cannot open the app?

If you no longer have the phone or cannot sign in, send us a request from the account email and we will delete the account.
