How a Remember time capsule works
A capsule is one photo, one or more recipients, and one unlock date. Here is what happens from the moment you press capture to the day it opens.
To make a Remember capsule you take a photo, choose when it opens (1 to 5 years), choose who receives it, and tap seal. The photo is hidden from everyone until the unlock date, when each recipient is notified and can open it.

Capture
Open Remember and take a photo with the in-app camera. There is no filter and no editing: the point is the moment as it was. You can start without an account.

Choose when it opens
Pick 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years. The screen shows the exact date it will open, and reminds you it stays sealed for everyone, including you.

Choose who gets it
Send it to your future self, to friends and family who have joined Remember, or to someone you invite with a link. You can pick more than one person.

Seal
Tap seal. The photo is uploaded privately and hidden. It appears in your vault as a sealed capsule with a countdown.

Wait
Each year a capsule waits it earns a ring. Everyone sees how long is left, nobody sees the photo.

Open
On the unlock date every recipient is notified. They tap the seal, the photo is revealed, and they can keep it or send one back to the future.
No peeking, for anyone
Until the unlock date a capsule stays sealed for everyone: the person who sealed it, the people it was sent to, and us. The photo is not delivered to any device before then.
Accounts and your vault
Without an account your vault is tied to your phone. Create an account with your email to back your capsules up in the cloud so they survive a lost phone. Everything you made as a guest comes with you.
